I am a 2009 graduate from Lockney High School located in the quaint little town of Lockney, Texas. Upon graduating high school, I traveled sixty miles down the road to attend Texas Tech University. I was a proud Red Raider from the fall of 2009 to graduation in December of 2012. Wreck 'Em!
While at Tech, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences with a double minor in Secondary Education and English.
I hold certifications for the following:
I started working in Monahans for MWP ISD in January of 2013. After graduating from Tech in December of 2012, I was hired at Walker Junior High as a Special Education aide. In February of that year, I accepted a job as a Bilingual Kindergarten teacher at Cullender. For the 2013-2014 school year, I stayed at Cullender as a Kindergarten teacher. After being at Cullender, I transferred back to the Junior High to take the position of 7th Grade English teacher. This is my second year to teach 7th grade English, and I am excited for another year. Along with teaching, I am also a coach. I coach Junior High volleyball and basketball, and I am an assistant softball coach. Go Lady Loboes!
I am married to Coach Cameron Swarb, who teaches math at Monahans High School. My husband is also a coach. He coaches football and is the head Boys Golf coach. We were married in March of 2012, and moved to Monahans after he accepted a teaching and coaching position in late Mayof that year. We have a daughter, Kartyr Grace, or KG for short, who was born in August of 2014. We also have three fur babies whose names are Raider, Razyr, and Marlee.
After school and on the weekends, I am a busy mom, coach, and coach's wife. Most of the time, you can find me at various athletic events cheering on the Loboes and Loboes. I also enjoy supporting my other teams: Texas Tech Red Raiders, Houston Texas, San Antonio Spurs, and the Houston Astros. I'm a lover of sports who also enjoys spending time with my family.
