My name is Austin Williamson, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Walker Junior High School. I bring eight years of experience in education, beginning my career at Frenship ISD where I taught Biology and IPC from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, I returned closer to home and joined Monahans, where I taught Chemistry at Monahans High School and served as the Junior High Boys Athletic Coordinator from 2020 to 2025. I grew up in Kermit, TX, and I’m proud to call West Texas home. My education includes graduating from Kermit High School in 2013, earning my bachelor’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University in 2017, and completing my master’s degree from Angelo State University in 2022. My wife, Kara Williamson, is a speech pathologist in the district, and together we have three wonderful children: Archer (5), Arden (3), and Alizabeth (1). We are thrilled to be part of the Walker Junior High family. I look forward to learning and growing in my role as an administrator under the leadership of Mrs. Hagler and supporting the students, staff, and community.
