I started teaching and coaching in 1999 in Red Oak at Red Oak Junior High. I have had the pleasure of working at Desoto West Junior High, Life Charter of Oak Cliff, Ennis, Fairfield, Midland, Kermit and Ector County. I found my home in Monahans, TX. I love the people and schools. I can’t imagine being anywhere else. I feel like I should have always been a LOBO. My heart is here.
I am married. I have 2 children. My husband, Clay, is a big equipment mechanic. He works as the head of mobile equipment at Atlas Energy Solutions. He is an amazing supporter of me and my school. He loves being married to a teacher. My son, Andrew, lives in Chicago, IL. He has a girlfriend named Teniel. He loves to attend major league baseball games and NFL games around the area and throughout the East coast. Madi is my beautiful daughter and mother of my two grandbabies. She works at Atlas Energy Solutions in warehouse in Kermit. My son-in-law works as a rig up and rig down manager. My grandbabies are my joy. You will see me with them as often as I can see them.
When I am not at school, I am working out or reading a book. I love mental games. I love to travel with my husband. We love to just get in the vehicle and go with no set place in mind. It has been one wild adventure after another.
